Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis
Researched: 24 October 2026
Three villages, several useful collection points
For Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, the booking should name the actual village. A shop in Fiss may suit a stay in Ladis, but it is not necessarily the easiest option for your first lesson morning. Sport Schmid is at Seilbahnstraße 36 in Fiss, directly beside the lifts. Sport Loisl lists Dorfstraße 49 in Ladis, immediately next to the local cable car. Compare these specific addresses with your accommodation and ski-school meeting point. A low equipment price alone does not necessarily compensate for another transfer with the whole family.
Published winter opening hours
Sport Schmid publishes winter hours of Monday to Sunday, 08:30–18:00. Sport Loisl lists daily opening from 08:00 to 18:00. These details were checked on 24 October 2026; confirm operation for your exact dates. One shop’s opening times do not automatically apply to a different branch or storage facility. In particular, ask about access to stored equipment and the deadline for returns on the last day. If you plan another half-day of skiing after checking out, resolve these questions before leaving your accommodation.
What the 2026/27 price list shows
For winter 2026/27, Sport Schmid lists Basic skis at €36 a day and boots at €22, giving €58 together. VIP skis with boots total €71. For ages eight to fourteen, skis and boots total €29 a day. These calculated combinations were checked on 24 October 2026 and relate exclusively to Schmid. Helmets appear separately. Request a total for everyone in your party and compare identical rental days. Promotions and family offers may have different conditions from the standard individual price list.
Prioritise short journeys with children
First establish the village and meeting point where lessons begin. You can then decide whether to collect equipment near your accommodation or near the lesson. Do not treat fitting as a quick stop immediately before the first session. Children may need a different boot size than expected, and carrying several sets also takes organisation. Storage at the lift you actually use can reduce walking. Ask beforehand whether helmets and boots fit inside and whether access is available early enough the following morning.
Parking choices and arrival
The official parking directory includes Fiss P1–P3 around the valley stations, spaces at the Sonnenbahn in Ladis and the day car park before the entrance to Serfaus. Several of these facilities have managed parking, so free use should not be assumed. Check the particular site’s charges and exit rules locally. For rail travel, Landeck-Zams is the regional reference station, followed by onward transport to the plateau. Choose a connection that suits the village where you are staying, and check the route from your arrival stop to the rental shop you have booked. If your accommodation is in another of the three villages, keep a shared note with the shop address, lesson location and return journey. Give it to all accompanying adults. If the lesson location changes during your stay, check the route to your equipment again before the next departure. The most practical arrangement for the first day may not be the best for the rest of the holiday.
