St. Anton am Arlberg

Nasserein, Galzig or Rendl?
In St. Anton, your first lift determines which rental shop is conveniently located. Intersport Arlberg Nassereinbahn is at Nassereinergasse 11, opposite the gondola and near Terminal Ost. For Galzig, the provider lists Kandaharweg 13; for Rendl, Alte Arlbergstraße 1. Choose according to your accommodation and lesson meeting point, rather than simply selecting a search result for St. Anton. If you are staying and taking lessons in Nasserein, weigh the convenience of a matching collection point against any price difference. On the first day in particular, a longer walk and boot fitting may take more time than expected.
Check opening hours carefully
When checked on 24 October 2026, the Nasserein page announced reopening for winter 2026/27 but did not yet publish reliable daily winter hours. The main website listed 8:30 am–1 pm and 2–5 pm for currently open shops; those hours cannot simply be transferred to the closed Nasserein branch. Confirm your collection appointment directly. This is especially relevant if lessons start early or you expect to arrive in the evening. Allow children enough time to try boots properly, and plan your first lift journey afterwards. Equipment returns on departure day should also fit the branch's confirmed schedule.
Specific prices for winter2026/27
Intersport Arlberg lists adult skis at €31–63 per day for winter 2026/27, depending on Economy through Superior category. Boots are an additional €24. Adding skis and boots therefore gives €55–87 per day before discounts or extras. This provides a clear comparison point, but it is not a complete package automatically including a helmet and storage. Have the total calculated for the length of your stay. A weekly rental may be priced differently from seven individual days. Discuss the type of equipment you want as well: ordinary piste skis and specialist touring equipment serve different purposes. Reserve equipment you actually intend to use and ensure the selection suits your own ability.
Families, the railway and parking
On a family trip, plan lessons and equipment together. Record the exact meeting point in Nasserein or at another lift, rather than only the ski school's name. Ask for each child's price using age and height; do not simply halve an adult rate. Also establish whether ski and boot storage are offered together or charged separately. St. Anton has a railway station in the village centre, and the lift operator describes the cable cars as a few minutes away on foot. This makes a holiday without your own car practical to organise. For Nasserein, Terminal Ost is a specific landmark when looking for parking. Check charges, availability and permitted parking duration locally or through current parking information. If you have a late train on your final day, it may make sense to organise luggage and equipment returns separately. Ask your accommodation in advance whether bags can remain there after checkout.
